The creative agency Publimark MullenLowe designed the new sonic identity for The Costa Rica Tourism Board (ICT). They used typical sounds and traditional instruments of the country to create a mnemonic based on the circle of fifths supporting the visual logo. For their representation of Costa Rica’s character they received an ISAbell.
We spoke to Bernal Chaves, audio branding director of MullenLowe, who told us more about the project and his special connection to the International Sound Awards.
