Description
SoundsTruck NW, a start-up 501(c)(3) organization based in Portland, Oregon, has created an innovative mobile stage that is equipped with a cutting-edge sound system powered by renewable solar energy. The inception of the mobile stage, spearheaded by Jon & Yoko Greeney, co-founders of SoundsTruck NW and professional classical musicians, became a reality through a collaborative effort involving Tiny Heirloom, a Portland tiny home builder, and the expertise of a Portland sound engineer Nick Moon from Tone Proper. Adapted from a 8×24 modular tiny house on wheels, the stage was skillfully designed to feature an electrically powered stage extension, providing ample space for intimate ensemble performances.
It is equipped with dual built-in speakers, a pair of vibrant LED screens, and dynamic stage lights – all seamlessly controlled wirelessly by an on-site audio engineer. This advanced setup empowers the stage to excel in hosting multifaceted multimedia concerts. The stage delivers state of the art live amplified sound, perfectly tailored for intimate outdoor concerts in community settings, parks, and schools, with an ideal audience size of 200-400 attendees. To enable outdoor concerts in any location, our stage operates entirely off the grid, relying on 100% rechargeable solar energy for power. (Patent Application in Progress)
