Particularities and Differences in the Creation Process of Sound Branding by Sound Branders and Other Professional Composers

As a complex interaction of creativity, expertise and various other fac-tors, the creation process of Sound Branding has not been examined so far. This study seeks to unravel the approaches, proceedings and charac-teristic features of professional Sound Branders. To do so, the particularities of the Sound Branding creation process are elaborated by a comparison with the proceeding in the composition of “independent” music, in this case the composition of popular music.
